I had chosen the quartzite ledgestone for my floor to cathedral ceiling fireplace but I wasnt feeling great about hiring the only game in town. I searched and found the Art of Stone and spoke to Matt. Right from the start I knew I was dealing with a decent honest person who knew his stuff. The installation team of Doug and his helper, Talia, were a pleasure to have in our home. The job was done beautifully and neatly with constant open communication. It looks amazing. Ours is a custom build home (ourselves as the builder) and we have had some good and bad experiences with our hires. This was at the top of the good scale. Thanks so much everyone!

Fantastic experience with Art of Stone -- great selection, excellent customer service (thanks Matthew!), and meticulous installation (thanks Doug!) Best pricing I found as well. Highly recommend on all fronts.

We couldn’t be happier with the stone wall installation in our family room. From start to finish, the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and overall professionalism exceeded our expectations. The wall has completely transformed the space and is now the focal point of our home.

A special thank you to Doug and Matthew for their outstanding support throughout the project. They were responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about getting every detail right. Their guidance, clear communication, and willingness to go the extra mile made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

The quality of the work speaks for itself, and it’s clear that pride was taken at every stage of the installation. We would absolutely recommend this team to anyone considering stone work or home renovations and would not hesitate to work with them again.

Excellent products, service and support from Matthew and Doug. What a real pleasure working with The Art of Stone. We are extremely delighted with how our fireplace turned out. Matthew and Dough were able to convert our stone fireplace with a repurposed barn beam mantel to a reality. We absolutely love tge end product. Doug is truly a master craftsman with an eye for detail.

Our experience with “The Art of Stone” was an absolute 5 star. We found it to be a seamless experience from selection and purchase to installation. The in store help really helped in our decision of materials. All timelines were exceeded and the workmanship of the installation was amazing. Also worth noting was how much effort the installer went to in keeping our house clean, throughout the process.

Art of Stone was amazing to work with! They have such a beautiful variety of stones, and Matthew was so helpful in guiding me to the perfect choice for my home. The quality is incredible, and you can truly see and feel the difference compared to other places i’ve visited. I ended up finding the perfect stone and it completely transformed the look of my house. Highly recommend.

Matthew was fantastic to work with! He provided us with a range of stone recommendations, and we ultimately chose Midwest Dimensional in the Luna colour—it's beautiful. Throughout the project, Matthew was quick to provide accurate timelines and regularly checked in to see how things were progressing. We really appreciated his professionalism and attention to detail. Highly recommend working with him!

We had a great experience getting stone for around our fireplace. Matthew was helpful and even let us take some samples home. We gave him a quote on the space and he was able to get us exactly what we needed. When our own installer fell through, he was quick to refer us to Doug who was quickly able to come complete the job and was done very well!
